To prevent electrocution, make sure power is off, and cannot be turned back on while installing the receptacle. A qualified electrician must install receptacle. Failure to comply with the following instructions could cause an electrical failure or fire. Make sure the receptacle has the proper electrical rating for the system on which it is being installed. Wire size and type must comply with appropriate local electrical codes. The receptacle is designed for #14 through #10 AWG. Use copper wire only. AC only. For use indoors or in a NEMA certified outdoor enclosure.
